The Manitoba Curling Tour has added a Men's event on Thanksgiving weekend at the Thistle Curling Club.

The NOTT AUTOCORP THANKSGIVING CHARITY OPEN will be held October 9th-13th, 2008 with a $479 entry fee and a total purse of $13,500.

The 24-team event fills the date-slot in the calendar formerly occupied by the Asham-sponsored World Curling Tour event.

A new event in Brandon has also been planned for the same weekend.
